和歷史悠久的中國的藝術，文化和科學一樣，益智遊戲在中國也流傳已久。許多中國的傳統益智遊戲也是智慧和藝術的傑作。
“Puzzles”在中國叫做益智遊戲。自古以來，從平民到宮廷，益智遊戲都深受男女老少的喜愛。
中國益智遊戲展覽的所有展品都來自藝智堂的收藏。其中包括傳統的七巧板，九連環和華容道。另外還有益智器物，益智圖像和一些智巧的生活用品，比如連環戒指或多開機關古鎖。
此次中國益智遊戲的展覽的一個重要的部分是互動。人們既可以觀賞展櫃中的益智遊戲，還可以在互動台上或互動教室裡親自動手動腦，體驗把玩益智遊戲的快樂和揭解益智遊戲的成就感。
藝智堂的藏主是舊金山灣區的張衛和雷彼德。近十二年來，他們走遍中國，北美和歐洲古董市場，收集這些迅速地消失的物品。中國益智遊戲展覽是藝智堂第一次綜合公展，也是第一個關於中國益智遊戲的專展。
此展覽歡迎不同年齡與文化背景的個人或家庭參與。
