| Celcilia Pao-Yung Chu is an award-winning Chinese-American artist living in Berkeley, CA. The pieces in the current display are heavily influenced by her emotional response to the September 11 terrorist attacks. As a Chinese American, she feels the need to make a conribution to this country in its time of crisis. She wishes to show that voices from the Chinese-American community have joined in the chorus of civic and moral support for the U.S> Her method of showing that support is through her ceramics. She will donate all personal proceeds from the sale of these works to the 911 relief fund. |
