The Chinese Culture Foundation of San Francisco is pleased to announce
its Collectors’ Choice - 1998 Benefit Auction, an event to raise funds
for the Chinese Culture Center, on Saturday, May 16, 1998, starting at
7:45 p.m. Butterfield and Butterfield of San Francisco will be the
auctioneer for the evening.
The auction will feature a selection of art works by renowned artists,
collectibles, quality gift items, as well as gift certificates from
hotels, restaurants and merchants who serve the greater Bay Area.
All of these items will be available for preview at the Chinese
Culture Center beginning Wednesday, May 13, 1998, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The auction gives collectors a wonderful opportunity to acquire
quality works by artists and obtain fine antiques and artifacts.
Hospitality and gift certificates will similarly be much enjoyed.
Contributions greatly assist the Chinese Culture Center in its efforts
to further develop and expand its cultural and educational programs.
On the day of the event, May 16, 1998, a preview of the Live and
Silent auction items begins at 5:30 p.m. We will serve a buffet dinner
from 6 – 7:30 p.m. for $15. Come and enjoy a relaxing dinner with friends,
