Asian Week Coverage: Room named for Wells Fargo
Wells Fargo’s $50,000 donation to the Chinese Culture Foundation’s Campaign for a New Beginning will help build CCF’s endowment in order to ensure CCF’s cultural programming for the future. In recognition of this donation, the Chinese Culture Foundation will name a classroom in Wells Fargo’s honor.
Maggie Mui, Wells Fargo senior vice president and director of specialized solutions,
will present a check for $50,000 to Chinese Culture Foundation on Friday, January 18, 2008, at 11:45 am. Accepting the check on behalf of the Chinese Culture Foundation will be Campaign for New Beginning Co-Chairs Dr. Rolland Lowe and Dr. Colin Wong.
Wells Fargo, the largest corporate giver among financial institutions to Bay Area nonprofits, has been a generous supporter of the Chinese Culture Foundation for many years. This donation to CCF’s Campaign for a New Beginning demonstrates Wells Fargo’s commitment to the culture and arts of the Chinese community of San Francisco.
