Ni hao!
I would like to register for a Winter 2009 Adult Weekend Mandarin course and wonder which level would be appropriate for me.
I have already taken three semesters of Mandarin speaking and writing at UC Berkeley Extension, using "New Practical Chinese Reader."
Our most recent class completed Volume 2 through lesson 21.
It seems that this level corresponds to your intermediate course, but I would like to confirm this with the instructor.
I would appreciate your advice or the name of the teacher to contact.
Xiexie,
Kim McGovern

Can I borrow or get a copy of "Forbidden City?" I can pay for a copy if someone can make me one. I'd like to bring one
to a family event this weekend and surprise an uncle who was a busboy there.
