About Central Subway in Chinatown:
Central Subway is a new light-rail built in four stations in San Francisco to improve public transportation options between Chinatown, SoMa, Yerba Buena and Union Square. The Chinese Culture Foundation has been working with artists to represent the Chinatown community in the new Chinatown station and to publicize the new Central Subway to the community through three year long art project called Journey to Chinatown. You can view the murals and learn more about the project on our weekly Saturday art walk.
