Jenny is currently the Program & Exhibition Manager, responsible for programs, exhibitions, and activities at the Foundation. She works closely with Abby Chen, Curator & Artistic Director in exhibitions, public art projects, communications, and manages a team of volunteers and interns for the volunteer-run gallery and shop.
During her time here, she has launched Episode a new exhibition series at the Foundation and played a role in improving exhibition management of art projects and the gallery.
Jenny grew up in Hawaii and is a second-generation Chinese American. Born to immigrant parents, she is sensitive to the lack of cultural and art resources available to audiences in the United States and to the Chinese community. With her work at the CCF, she hopes to present and give a platform to innovative artwork and artists, change preconceptions of Chinese art and culture in America, and to continue to connect nonprofit activity and engagement with the community. Previously, she graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with her Master’s in Asian Studies, and the University of Washington in Seattle.
