Chinese Culture Center will begin our winter session classes on January 19 (Beginner’s Mandarin Class II will start on Feb. 2nd, 2008) to March 29, 2008 with a break for our Spring Festival weekend, February 23. Our winter classes include Adult Mandarin Class, Children Learn & Play Mandarin Class, Brush Painting Class and Calligraphy Class.

It has been very successful and captivating since our new Calligraphy class was opened at Fall , 2007. Now, the Winter weekend session class will begin soon. Additional Mandarin Class information

World-renowned Chinese Chess player Anna Yin will offer free classes over a period of ten weeks at the Chinese Culture Center. The classes start on Thursday, July 6th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Students are welcome to join at any time. Chinese Chess (Xiang Qi) evolved from an ancient Chinese game called Liubo that was invented some 3,500 years ago. It is a fun game that combines strategic thinking and cultural heritage.
