At the Chinese Culture Center, we believe that art, education, and community engagement can shift narratives, spark intercultural understanding, and empower underserved voices. As a community-based arts nonprofit rooted in San Francisco’s Chinatown, we bring people together across generations and cultures through creativity, learning, and public participation.

Our mission is to ignite dialogue, discovery, and change by producing bold art interventions, showcasing contemporary and traditional Chinese American experiences, and making cultural education accessible to all. Whether it’s through visual art exhibitions, music, literature, or public programs, CCC is a hub where diverse stories are told, new ideas are born, and community connections are strengthened.

Founded in 1965, the Chinese Culture Foundation launched CCC in 1973 to serve as a cultural bridge between Chinatown and the broader Bay Area. Today, we continue this legacy by offering year-round programs—from major festivals like the Chinatown Music Festival and Spring Festival Celebration to exhibitions like “Xian Rui” and “Present Tense”—that reflect the vibrant pulse of our time.

Through art, education, and community, CCC remains committed to shaping a more inclusive future. Thank you for being a part of our story.
